It’s a purely win-win situation, and I’ve outlined the top three reasons that will benefit both you and your community: 1. Networking Small business associations provide networking opportunities. Members are encouraged to participate in mixers, educational seminars, workshops, holiday parties, and social events, which will help you to build relationships, get ideas, and promote your mission. The  DBA  is Coachella Valley's LGBT Business Association, a worthy cause and a great organization. 2. New Clients Once relationships are formed and you’ve become a familiar face, you will seamlessly generate new clients who believe in you and your business. First of all, Thank you for by h elping me  by donating to my GoFundMe or sharing this blog or resource list with people you know who is ready to start their own small business but don't really know how. That's the situation I was in a month ago when I was afraid of losing my job and fed up with working for people that put profit before people and the planet.
